Depending on the quality desired, any kind of work should be supervised and the contrary is true.
In many schools, supervision is done; however, it may not be productive enough since its intents are not clear. Some headteachers commonly claim to carry out supervision though their supervision is done under tree shades mainly monitoring movements of different teachers on staff. Surely, this may yield less since it evaluates physical presence not technical progress.
However, support supervision should be the best version for excellent performance. It enables evaluation of effective usage of resources at school hence high productivity. It also ensures steady progress of the academic system since there is critical follow-up of activities done.
In addition, it encourages sharing of ideas for better performance. Furthermore, it helps to improve on the quality of service since there’s always value addition. It creates confidence in achieving the set targets and goals. It motivates staff members hence ensuring perfection in the process.
It encourages problem-solving at an early stage which reduces losses. It improves individual performance in fear of exposing their weaknesses. Proper accountability of resources is done hence proper budgeting.
It refines every step in the process ensuring perfection at all times. The staff feels supported, enabling them to achieve the intended goal.
Therefore, supervision if critically done leverages productivity and quality.
